What’s That?

Mystery Item A

One of my most stress-free classes at the moment is Digital Photography. Okay, I’ll admit it. As much as I love photography, I haven’t taken this class very seriously. Sometimes I take my journal photos (which we’re supposed to document our lives with throughout the week) at lunch before 6th period. And sometimes I’ll just take completely uninspired photos that fit the requirement (example: the bus stop sign for a photo of the color yellow.)

This assignment, though, I really had fun with. Our macro assignment. We were supposed to pick a theme… flowers, shoes, etc. I picked kitchen supplies and equipment. These are all close ups of things from my kitchen. Most of them are pretty obvious, some aren’t… Can you guess what they are?

Mystery Item B

Mystery Item D

Mystery Item E

Mystery Item F

Mystery Item G

If any of you were wondering, these were still with my Kodak point and shoot. Unfortunately, even though it’s a month after my birthday, I still haven’t gotten around to getting my new camera. Hopefully I will get it once tests are over (they end next week on the 22nd, I can’t wait!)

Did you figure them all out?

A – Handle of our electric water boiler
B – Toothpicks
C – Tongs
D – Push-down part of a tea press (don’t know the technical name, sorry!)
E – Microplane grater
F – Whisk
G – Juicer

Hope you guys are having a lovely May… I have been doing a bit of baking, and I can’t wait to share it with you soon!

Great shots! I guessed them all except the first one. I got that one partially, I figured it was a handle of some sort. ;)

Good luck on your exams! I just finished mine this week. Such a wonderful feeling.

I wish my school had had fun classes like digital photography! My most inventive class was a very… interesting… creative writing course.

You’re talented Elissa!!! My word those are great photos! Is that you being “uninspired”? I can’t wait to see what happens when you’re really feeling it! Hahaha they really look great, I hope you get As! I wish I had had classes like these in highschool, I think it’s so important to test the waters of very many areas of creativity and explore your potential in different fronts. I just got science, religion and military training… don’t go to school in a crazy third-world semi-communist country!
